WebQuests!
I spent most of my weekend visiting as many websites as possible related to webquests! As much as I like the idea of a Webquest, I feel very confused in terms of even how to get started. I will sleep on it and start all over tomorrow again. There is so much information, it made my head spin. I do believe it looks like a great way to assign topics for research to the students. I am going to check around and see how everyone is doing.

Don't get too overwhelmed. What I suggest is finding one you think you could use and modify it for your ownneeds.
*Just remember to cite it in the Credits section.
Do not stress. You can do it!
:)
I spent alot of time this weekend starting my WebQuest and felt overwhelmed just as you did. What I had to remember is that we are the students here and the objective of this lesson is not to produce a perfect WebQuest but rather to learn how to create a WebQuest. This is something new and exciting for all of us - and overwhelming but keeping in mind the objective will help - it helped me. I researched existing WebQuests and "borrowed" some of one that was out there. I emailed Dr. Luongo and she told me that was fine - just had to cite what I took. This made me realize the purpose and made it more fun. It is a learning experience - so we need to have fun like we want our student to! We have to experience the hyperlinks, and inserting of videos, and other docs. We have to keep in mind a thorough lesson plan and have technology support it - its alot of work - but interesting and innovative. I think we all share the same feelings and I will bet yours will be wonderful!
